Block/Kameari Engine Works Timing Chain
Several days progress on the engine including the Kameari timing chain tensioner install. Note that I had to grind down the head (pictures 4-5) to get the full travel. Also note, do not use a thick gasket between the blue piece and the block as it will cause the chain to bind on the lower gear.
Note as of this writing I am 5 months behind on pictures – This engine is ready to drop in the engine bay – I am going to attempt to do larger updates to make things a bit more current.

Dash Cover Test Fit/Modify
Here you can see the dash cover being fitted in preparation for the heat gun. Things went very well, and there were minimal to any marking from the clamps, which ultimately does not matter as the dash was going to be re-coated in SEM which further hid any imperfections.

Floor Install – VII
Continued Floor installation…not rust was from having new floor sit for a month or so prior to install.

Floor Install – III
Continued Floor Progress however I don’t think I am going to win any contests for making it look pretty…especially the L bracket near the peddle assemblies (was very hard to get in there to make a better looking weld)

Floor Install – I
Early install pictures of the drivers side frame rails. Note that paint is stripped on both sides of the original rail and covered with a weldable primer. I am a rookie/self taught welder which is evident in the pictures. I did try and clean it up and ended up making it uglier (future pictures), but regardless the floor is not going anywhere.
