240-Z Front Fender Removal
Here are some early pictures of the 240z restore process. These are simply to give an idea of what I was starting with. The minor rust above the frame in the last picture turned out to be much worse then is shows after I sandblasted the bad bits away.
Note: Last two pictures show some progress after some early wire brush cleanup.

Rear Bumper Part 2
Progress Pictures of the bumper restore. Note: I should have taken pictures prior to the rust converter as it looked much more impressive (First two Pictures)

ZXR floor work/sound deadening part 2 + rear bumper
Continued work on the floor pan, on the front passenger side of the car. Also I have included my very rusty rear bumper…this was the only major part of the car I had not repaired…and it is pretty bad.

Wiring cleanup/repair of the various temp sensors.
More 280ZX restoration
I had to remove the already completed hub assembly on the passenger side of the car per a stripped bolt issue on the cv axle side. This also meant I had to reinstalled an outer-bearing and refurbish a fairly rusted replacement. The pictures do not really give justice to how much surface rust was present. The end result looks like previous pictures after painted so I did not bother taking any new pictures. Also show is the rear metal support brace that was badly bent. Sadly I forget to get pictures of it with the new paint job…perhaps the next time I go under the car I will have a chance.

Rear Control Arm – Inner Bearing
Here are the results of my 2nd attempt at pressing the rear inner bearing into the control arm. This time things went much better.
The control arm was stripped of all paint to resolve an an issue with the existing paint. In the photos you can see the first new coat on the Arm/Hub.

Suspenion, rear arm repair
The rear arm from the 280ZX (shown above) has damaged from age and the rear bearing having to be cut out as it could not be pressed out. Note that the the sleeve also had to be repaired as the item is no longer obtainable (new) and had some minor damage from the process. The inner surface was then resurfaced and filled as where needed in preparation for the new bearings. Note that the pictures make it appear rougher then what it actually is as the surface is quite smooth.
